My birthday isn't for another couple of months, but the fun came early this year! Eric got me a treadmill! It was either that or an SLR camera or an iPhone. I think he decided he'd rather have a sexy wife than one that can take awesome pictures or surf the web from the palm of her hand. I guess I don't blame him.
We ended up getting a used treadmill off of craigslist because there is a slight risk that I won't use it quite as much as I'm anticipating (isn't that precisely why they're always for sale on craigslist?), and we didn't want to shell out wads of cash until I've proven that I will actually use said treadmill. My biggest reservation with running (besides that it's really, really difficult) has always been that people can see me doing it, so I'm hoping that putting this running machine in our basement will solve my problem. Golly, I hope I use it. I WILL use it. Decided. Tomorrow.
