I spent some time trying to figure out how to put the rest of our artwork in the dining room, but we need more. And bigger. You can see my "frame-sized" papers hanging on the wall.
Gosh we need a better table.
Other additions to the dining room:
My favorite little dresser will (for now) serve as a mini buffet, holding extra dishes, and grandma's candlesticks. That runner should end up in front of our (soon to be installed) sliding door. Am still looking for an 8x10 rug for the rest of the room. Something that can withstand a lot of traffic.
More rearranging has the den currently looking like this.....
I need to hang art, buy a rug, and fill the bookshelves completely. Also, I hate to say it, but the fiber art will have to go.I think we will put a credenza on this wall. It may some day hold a small tv so we can curl up by the fire and watch movies in the wintertime.
I don't quite know what to do about this corner, though.....
I'll get a little lamp to set on the type chest in the corner, but other than that....While I really want to have the drafting table in this room so I can cut and paste and draw while we watch movies and soak up the warmth of the fire, I feel like the den may be getting a bit crowded. Maybe I could take out one of the lounge chairs?
The living room is looking sparse again, maybe I could put it back in there??
I see more rearranging in my future. I'm not complaining, I like it. :)
