Home from the Holidays!!!

Happy New Year!! We have been out of town for going on three (!) weeks, and while we had a fabulous time over the holidays, it is so, so good to be home.

We spent Christmas with Eric's family in Colorado, where we went on a few nice walks,

wandered around downtown,

ate lutefisk (blech!),

participated in the annual "feats of strength",

and opened far, far too many gifts. And while I didn't receive the ukulele I requested, there were some pretty amazing "Christmas flute" jam sessions that more than made up for it :)

We wasted a lot of time at ikea (glorious!),

but my favorite day by far had to be the one we spent at Eric's Uncle Mark's house. He has alpacas and guns and we spent a lot of time with both. So fun!

And as cute as those alpacas were, it was super good to get home to our nice warm bed and this little guy...
