Furoshiki. Have you heard of this? Furoshiki are Japanese wrapping clothes. They're used for carrying goods and clothing or even for wrapping gifts. I found some gorgeous ones handmade by Link Collective on Etsy.

They sell bag and strap sets so you can make a kind of purse, but their site also shows how to fold the scarves in order to conveniently carry different kinds of things.

It's like fabric origami!
