Number 1:
Our house has a new roof! Say what?! Whoop! Whoop! It looks soooooo good! I can now see potential in the exterior of this place! If you can you paint aluminum siding, that is. Can you?
I know in one of my last posts I mentioned being un-thrilled with the result, but that was before I took a shower. It's amazing. There's enough light that you can see what parts of you are still dirty and you can lift your arms up to wash your hair without knocking all the soaps and shampoos onto the floor and Eric can even stand up straight! No more hunching and splashing for him! It's so wonderful; I've been taking two showers a day! Even Mister likes it. How do I know? He jumped right on in this morning and sat at the end, lapping up any droplets that came his way.
Number 3: Fireplace room flooring.
Last night, Eric put some hardy backer down for where the tile is going to go. Yep, that's right, we're tiling the entryway in a square if you can believe that! And we're planning on ordering the wood floor this weekend…. possibly because I discovered some on sale at Home Depot, and it's half the price of the acacia I found at Flooring Liquidators. It's gonna be dope! I think we will go with mahogany……
