Eric's brothers stopped by this weekend on their way to Denver and we had a lot of fun with them. The boys went to the Banff Film Festival on Friday night, and Saturday we played some frisbee golf, went to dinner, and then saw the Avengers (which was rockin', by the way). Joe and Adam took off Sunday morning and Eric had to work, so I found myself looking for something to do.
I've wanted to build a terrarium for a while now, and, amazingly enough, I discovered I had everything I'd need for such a venture. We had some potting soil in the shed, enough rocks in the backyard, and the house came with these little succulents - which I dug up and jammed into a pot last fall. They are hearty little suckers. I've completely ignored them and they've managed to survive, even thrive without any work on my part.
While the result might not technically be a terrarium, I'm pretty excited about my little plant-growing bowl.
